Patricia O'Connor Dip. YTI

I started practising yoga over 20 years ago while managing my Beauty Salon in Naas, Co Kildare.

As my passion for yoga grew I decided to train to become a Hatha Yoga instructor, qualifying in 2004 with Yoga Therapy Ireland (YTI).  I later qualified as a Yoga Therapist to specialise in helping people manage specific health issues.  As part of my continuous development I also trained with international teachers, such as, Tanya Fitzpatrick, Zoe Knott, Tara Fraiser and Julie Gudmested all of whom helped to broaden my knowledge and understanding of Yoga.

I offer one-to-one sessions for people experiencing stiffness and pain. I specialise in working with 'the breath' to restore balance to the mind while revitalising the body. I am particularly interested in breath work (Pranayama) which helps to relief the stress of everyday living.

All my clients enjoy the many health benefits yoga has to offer, from young teenagers to the elderly.  I currently work with the East Midlands Parkinson's Association and offer chair yoga sessions in the Coimín Centre in Blessington.

"I believe that yoga is for everybody even if you are just in need of some timeout!"
